File this one under "weird record of the month". Dr. Creep has been a cult hero in this area for 30 years, hosting, most notably, "Shock Theatre," a long-running horror movie TV series. The Lawn Jockeys have essentially put together a tribute to their idol, complete with clips from clasic horror flicks and audio from Dr. Creep himself.

The instrumental music runs the gamut from electronic, surf, blues and funk to a rave-up of the Dr. Creep theme song, based on "Peter Gunn." The entire disc was recorded in a mammoth two-day recording session, but you'd never know it just by listening - as the press kit claims, this is great party music.
