Gazing Towards A New Year

My old friend and cultural compatriot Tod Weidner recently sent out a note to friends and fans, concluding with a sentiment I can’t help but concur with.

“This world can be a horrifying, discouraging place sometimes, and I’m doubling down on my efforts to add a little bit of truth and beauty to it, whenever and wherever I can. I hope you’re approaching the new year with the same goal.”

Here's raising a toast to more of that truth and beauty, and having the courage to do what it takes to help conjure it up where and when we can in this world. To doing what we can with what we have, where we are. We live in a world where it’s all happening - the good and the bad, the beautiful and the ugly. Let’s help shape those happenings to reflect and nurture the things that serve our best versions of who and what we and our world can be.
