It was a fully packed house at the world premiere of the recently released Frontline documentary program on the “Haiti Deportation Crisis.” Some timely stuff, diving into the ramifications of the cruel absurdity of the Trump/Vance/Miller regime’s deportation policies, particularly as they play out in regards to the large Haitian community living in Springfield, Ohio. Cool for two decades now. I always help out during these fund raising shows, which are definitely more improvisational and labor intensive in pulling off what with all the details that need to be managed during them. Maybe most memorable was when DJ Scorpius Max joined me to do a live reading of the Declaration of Independence with some Hendrix black panther national anthem laying the soundtrack for it.
