AROUND THE FRINGE Fall Fund Drive Edition

Below is the playlist for this past weekend's live fall fundie edition of AROUND THE FRINGE, which I've been co-hosting with my long time radio compatriot the Rev. Cool for two decades now. I always help out during these fund raising shows, which are definitely more improvisational and labor intensive in pulling off what with all the details that need to be managed during them. Keeping the music engaging and energizing hopefully helps encourage people's interest in supporting the effort ') Around The Fringe is a kind of institution among indie radio programs, and has been a staple of WYSO programming for over four decades. It remains an audiophonic flagship of the Cultural Liberation Front "), with which the Rev and I have been using to smuggle the sounds of cool over our public airwaves and challenge the stasis of corporate culture for decades now. It's All Happening is a direct descendant of my years of work on ATF, and is very much one of the main templates for it. There would simply be no IAH without it. It's another reason the set lists are so thoroughly interchangeable between the two programs.

Around The Fringe broadcasts live on Friday nights from 8 to 10pm (eastern) on WYSO 91.3 FM. PROGRAM PLAYLIST: Sahad - “Vultures”
