Gregg Spence - 1992 Television Performance

Some more footage from the Big Beef archives of my friend Gregg Spence performing on live on television, this as part of an all-night live TV production of a Big Beef Dayton Bands Marathon show, which was produced live from the facilities of MVCC, and which aired throughout the Miami Valley (the greater Dayton, Ohio region).

It is unfortunate the lack of documentation that exists of Gregg’s work, considering how many times he performed publicly. This is one of the few studio-based recordings (albeit a television one) of him doing his own ‘solo’ works that exists publicly.

Along with his performance that night was this short interview with Gregg that was featured during the same television marathon event. There were similar such interviews done with a number of the other bands and musicians who performed that night. Interviews were done by Sharon Gavlick, shortly after this started performing live herself with Gregg in the band Real Lulu, which went on to real popularity among indie rock fans throughout the next decade.
